This policy explains how LumiCarat handles information through this website. The site currently provides a jewellery catalogue and contact details; online checkout, customer accounts and payment processing are not currently available.

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address and message. In the content-management system, authorised staff may maintain customer profile details such as name, email address, phone number and marketing preference. Staff sign-in credentials are stored as salted password hashes.

How information is used

We use information to respond to enquiries, maintain the jewellery catalogue and customer or staff records, protect the administration system, and honour a recorded marketing preference. We do not currently take orders or payments through this website.

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that host or operate the website and its database, or disclosed where required by law. We limit access to information to people and providers who need it for these purposes.

Retention and your choices

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was provided, to maintain business records, or to meet legal obligations.
